The members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) are invited by EU-BRITE to share their views and information on the new BREF LAN (Landfills) through a frontloading survey.
The activities covered by the revision are those listed in Annex I, 5.4 of the IED:
Landfills, as defined in Article 2(g) of Council Directive 1999/31/EC of 26 April 1999 on the landfill of waste, receiving more than 10 tonnes of waste per day or with a total capacity exceeding 25 000 tonnes, excluding landfills of inert waste.
Views on the scope, approach, and key points can be submitted to EU-BRITE until 16 April 2025. On behalf of and in collaboration with the GOP Division of the Departement of Environment, the BAT-knowledge centre is preparing the Flemish/Belgian frontloading.
