Job description

• In your role as the Smart Operations and Control Room Manager - Wind Energy, you’ll oversee the team of technicians in the Smart Operations and Control Room covering the Western Europe Region.
• Supervision and Work Orders: You’ll be supervising remotely the entire wind turbine fleet and regulatory equipment. Additionally, you’ll be preparing work orders for the execution by service technicians.
• HSE Prioritization: Ensuring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) topics are a top priority, you’ll escalate HSE incidents and actively contribute to resolving HSE challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: You’ll be managing continuous improvement projects within your department and actively participate in global-level enhancements for the Smart Operations and Control Room.
• Performance Metrics: You’ll be establishing performance indicators and proposing targets, you’ll closely monitor the performance of the Smart Operations and Control Room team.
• Collaboration: As part of your role, you’ll foster collaboration across business areas and clusters, contributing to overall business success.

Your Profile

• You have a Technical degree with an Electrical and/ or Mechanical background, or equivalent by experience.
• You have experience in the Wind Energy sector with a strong knowledge of wind turbines.
• Project Management skills and expertise in managing remote teams is desirable.
• Competent and experience with SCADA, SCADA Remote, SAP, FSM, SIP, Excel, Power BI, etc. is a plus.
• Good command of English and French or Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
• You’re an excellent communicator, good negotiator, proactive and a resourceful individual.
