The Flemish BAT-studies give an overview and a description of the environmental- and energy friendly measures in different industrial sectors. They select the Best Available Techniques (BAT). The studies concern further recommendations for the environmental licence conditions and giving instructions (VLAREM), ecology premium and further research. Studies are established in a process where both the industry and the government play a role.
