VITO's BAT knowledge center has started drawing up the BAT study on scrap handling, treatment and dismantling. The new study will focus on, among other things, shredder installations, lithium batteries and dismantling of ships and aircrafts.
A guidance committee will be set up for the study with various representatives from, among others, the Flemish Government (GOP, OVAM, VMM, HH) and the sector federation Denuo.
