The VITO BAT Knowledge Center has started the addendum for farm composting to the BAT study ‘Composting and digestion plants’ (2005). This addendum focusses on the prevention or limitation of emissions to air, water and groundwater during small-scale farm composting conducted in the open air, whether or not in partnership, and carried out on a permanent business site, a parcel of agricultural land or an unpaved parcel of a nature organization.
