Final draft available of the revision of the BREF on slaughterhouses, animal by-products, and edible co-products (SA)

The final draft of the revision of the BREF SA (slaughterhouses, animal by-products, and edible co-products) has been made publicly available by the European IPPC Bureau through https://eippcb.jrc.ec.europa.eu/news/bref-news-138 (March 2023).

At the Article 13 Forum meeting (22/05/2023), an opinion will be provided on the proposed content of this BREF and the BAT (Best Available Techniques) conclusions. The European Commission will take this opinion into account when adopting the BAT conclusions.
