Offshore wind energy - QA/QC Engineer (m/v) - Belgium 

Job description 

  • As a QA/QC Engineer you will contribute to the QHSSE departmental goals by upholding the highest quality standards possible during the construction and maintenance of offshore wind farm projects. 
  • As a QA/QC Engineer your responsibility is on the corporate level; developing and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with the ISO9001 standard. 
  • As a QA/QC Engineer your task is to execute, follow up and improve Quality procedures (including internal audits).
  • As a QA/QC Engineer Act you are the point of contact for internal and external clients on Quality management.
  • As a QA/QC Engineer you manage Quality Control during the different project phases (including audits of contractors).
  • As a QA/QC Engineer you share Lessons Learned on the Quality related activities both internal and with external clients. 

Your profile  

  • You have an engineering degree or equivalent by experience, with additional Quality management education.  
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience.  
  • Knowledge of international QHSSE standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001) is required.  
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (spoken and written) is a must.  
  • Knowledge of Maritime Legislation is considered an advantage.  
  • Willing to travel occasionally for short periods (2-3 days).  
  • You are fluent with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Visio, Outlook) and other applications.
