The chosen candidate will be stationed at our Ghent/Leuven office, collaborating within a dynamic team that engages in a wide spectrum of EHS projects for primarily private sector clients in Belgium, with occasional ventures into the broader Benelux region and abroad.
Key responsibilities encompass, but are not confined to:
- Application of pertinent and current environmental and health & safety legislations.
- Conducting thorough audits.
- Performing due diligence investigations.
- Implementing EHS management systems.
- Managing permitting processes.
- Master or BSc degree in Environmental and Health and Safety Management or a similar field of study.
- An ideal candidate would have 0-2 years of working experience within EHS consultancy or a related sector, coupled with a strong foundation in current EHS legislation.
- Confidence with working in a team and in a client facing role.
- Willingness to travel to meet the needs of specific projects.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
